WALK/RUN FOR THEIR LIVES 2015: COME AND JOIN THE FUN! Another fruitful year has come. That is why Care Net Pregnancy Center of Northern California is heading up again and was all the way prepared for a fund raising occasion also known as “Walk/Run for Their Lives.” It is going to transpire on April 18, 2015, Friday at the Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay! Partakers, including grandparents, parents and their children can register to walk 2 miles or run a 5 kilometers and then ask family and friends to be benefactors for them. This seems to be a great and perfect happening for the entire family members. The said event include: food and drinks for everyone, bombastic and lively music for parents and other adults, colorful face painting and balloon animals, bounce house for your children, and the much awaited awarding ceremony and so much more surprises and activities!Pre-Registration is up and available until April 17, 2015, 12:00 pm. Registration fee is $5 for 2 miles walk, $25 for 5 kilometers fun run Day of Event $10 walk/$50 run. After the events, 100% of the proceeds will go to the Care Net Pregnancy Center solely in Redding. Care Net Pregnancy Center is a non-profit organization that does serve thousands of families in the community and preserves its doors open by the generous grants and donations of kind-hearted individuals and business establishments of the Shasta County. Services include pregnancy tests, parenting education, ultrasound, nutrition classes, baby needs (diapers, clothes, furniture, etc.), options counseling, post abortion counseling and support for the hundreds of women and men who come through our door who are experiencing unplanned pregnancies.
