The Truckee Hotel

Established in 1873, this traditional hotel in downtown Truckee is a 2-minute drive from I-80, 5.8 miles from Northstar ski resort, 17 miles from Lake Tahoe and 36 miles from Reno-Tahoe International airport. The simple rooms are decorated in warm, earth tones and wood furnishings, and all come with free W-iFi. Some have in-room sinks but shared bathrooms located in the hallways, while others have en suite bathrooms with claw-foot tubs. Family rooms sleeping up to 5 are also available. The hotel offers complimentary continental breakfast in a room with a large-screen TV, and there’s a bistro/bar with live music events located downstairs.
