Haven Humane Society Needs Help

Haven Humane Society supports the community by promoting the humane treatment of animals through sheltering, spay/neuter, adoption, community education, outreach, rescue and animal regulations. Haven Humane Society’s vision is of a community of responsible pet owners working together for a North State with no more homeless pets. By 2021, Haven Humane Society plans to be a no-kill shelter.

Haven Humane Society has proudly served the North State since 1952. We place animals in new forever homes, return pets to their lost owners, rescue and care for animal cruelty victims, and spay or neuter thousands of animals to help decrease the homeless pet population. Our staff and volunteers run these programs, as well as educational outreach events and fundraisers. Furthermore, Haven Humane’s Spay/Neuter Clinic not only provides spay, neuter, and medical services for animals at the shelter, but also provides full medical care for all documented 501(c)(3) groups, shelters, and low income clients who qualify.
