My name is Rodney Forseth, Owner of Rods Radiators Inc and also I am the assistant wrestling coach at Simpson University. We are hosting a benefit motorcycle race, the purpose of this fundraising race is to help with travel cost for our team. At Simpson University our students are encouraged to perform community service, with this in mind we have decided to use our fundraiser to also help local youth athletic programs.
This year we have given $10,500.00 worth of tickets for local youth athletic groups to sell, they will keep all of the money they receive for those tickets. We at Simpson wrestling club will run the races and receive money from the racers entry fee and also from the gate. This is the second annual race for Simpson wrestling club, but I had also ran benefit races for the Save Our Sports foundation (1995).
Benefit Motorcycle Races
Youth groups and amount donated to each group that will benefit from the Motorcycle Races at the Redding Rodeo Grounds.
AC -United Soccer 100 tickets @ $15.00 each = $1500.00
Redding soccer Misfits/Fusion 100 tickets @ $15.00 each = $1500.00
Redding LaCrosse 100 tickets @ $15.00 each = $1500.00
Enterprise HS Boosters 100 tickets @ $15.00 each = $1500.00
Shasta HS Soccer & wrestling 100 tickets @ $15.00 each= $1500.00
Foothill HS Boosters 100 tickets @ $15.00 each = $1500.00
Boulder Creek Boosters 100 tickets @ $15.00 each = $1500.00
Total = $10,500.00
I have more tickets available to give for these and other groups when asked. The teams keep all of the money from the tickets they sell.
Money received at the gate will go towards helping Simpson Wrestling Club.
100% of all proceeds will go towards youth athletics.
