Robert Fetty (Project Manager/Web designer/Social Media)
I started interning with Jason Stovall around 2012. I have been in the social networking ring for some time so teaming up with Jason was a natural match for us both. Before Jason and I paired up, I worked as a sleep technician for six years, diagnosing sleep apnea. Because I worked closely with patients and doctors I honed my listening skills as well as attention to details. While working in the sleep field I was promoted from technician to Central Coast Supervisor and Lead Technical Supervisor. In addition to my clinical skills I also worked for ten years in retail, managing a staff of over 60 employees while running my own store and coaching mangers at several locations. It was while working with Jason in the social networking field that I learned to love the technological side of crafting websites. I soon learned that I could easily blend my marketing/management skills with the technical aspects of the internship. I have worked with a large spectrum of business types including, restaurants, thrift stores and I have designed and maintained a website for an equine therapy charity, just to name a few of my accomplishments. This proves that I have the skills to work with just about any kind of business and to guide them to success.
Throughout my career I have learned to love teaching as well. I believe that this makes me a more rounded individual than most. I have a passion for teaching people who may not otherwise be able to acquire technical skills. I have taught the elderly on several occasions on how to use Facebook and other social media outlets. Helping them set up accounts and teaching them the skills that they need to reach out to the younger generation. When Jason told me what he was looking for in a project manager and a jack of all trades, I knew that was me. On a personal note, one of my great joys is volunteering. I have tutored two autistic kids to help them get ahead in life. I have worked at food banks, managed meals for large groups of 70 and more at a church and volunteered the local YMCA with children. I am looking forward to future opportunities with Jason and I have plans to keep expanding my life with my volunteer work.
